The Congo Philodendron is a member of the Camellia family. It can grow to be nearly four feet tall but only weighs about one pound, making it an easy to grow plant that can be easily grown in pots or containers.It is an easy to care for plant that will thrive in full sun, with moist well drained soil, although it will also thrive in part shade. It prefers moist conditions but loves dry to medium humidity levels because then its roots don’t need to be as damp as they are at lower humidity levels. The best time for watering is when the plant has just put on water during the day before you go to bed at night so that it doesn’t wilt too much when you wake up in the morning.
