This unusual plant has the most beautiful lacy green foliage which grow from their delightful furry rhizomes that creep over the top of the plant pot. The furry rhizomes look like a Rabbit's foot and that's how the plant got its cheeky name. As the rhizomes grow longer they take on a spider-like appearance.

The soft elegant green leaflets are a combination of dark green and light green creating a lush feathery green mounds on top of the rhizomes. Rhizomes are a type of plant stem which absorb moisture and nutrients as they crawl on top of the moist soil and starts new shoots. The rhizomes shouldn't be buried under the soil as it would encourage rot.

Native to Pacific Island, specifically to Fiji, Rabbit's Foot Fern in its native environment grow on trees or within rock crevices taking moisture and nutrients from other sources such as air, rain, trees and other debris. Rabbit's foot fern are considered more resilient and less temperamental than many other ferns. They are a tropical plant and with the right care would provide vibrant colour to your home.

Where do you deliver to?
Bloomspace delivers to NSW, VIC, QLD, ACT, and SA. Some custom extra-large plants (>150cm and >35cm pot diameter) can only be delivered to the Sydney Metro area. Other than that, we ship to all towns and cities in the states mentioned, regardless of the population of the region. Remote country regions will cost significantly more and take longer for your plants to be delivered.

Plants in the post, will they be safe?
All plants are carefully packed with custom packaging techniques to ensure your plant arrives in perfect condition. We have conducted extensive testing on how long plants last in a box, rest assured, your plants will be fine! This applies to remote regional orders. You would be surprised how long plants last when properly packaged in a card box! For customers located in a metro area, don't be alarmed if your plants have to sit in storage over a weekend. While we try to avoid this from happening, extensive experience tells us that your plants will be fine.

 How long does delivery take?
The majority of orders (if ordered on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday) are received in 1-2 days for all metro areas in capital cities. We try not to send plants on Thursday and Friday to ensure the plants aren't sitting in a box unnecessarily. Please get in touch with us if you are in Sydney and require urgent delivery later in the week, as this can be arranged upon request. Located in Sydney and require fast delivery? Please reach out to us and we can arrange a courier service for same-day delivery. Bear in mind, same-day courier services can be very expensive for large plants.

 How much does delivery cost?
There is no delivery cost for orders in the Sydney and Melbourne metro areas. We have negotiated heavily discounted shipping rates with several courier services for people outside of these areas and if you would like your plant delivered earlier you can choose an express option. Please select your preferred shipping company and option at the checkout page.

I live in an apartment building/will not be home between 9-5pm/it is difficult to deliver to my place, will this be a problem?
YES! What often occurs is a back and forth tennis match between you and the courier company, with us in the middle powerless to help you get your plants. If you live in an apartment building, we strongly recommend getting your order sent to an alternative address such as your workplace or a friend's house. That way your package can be delivered without you having to be present. If it is safe for the shipping companies to leave your plants at your property, please select that option through our delivery system.

If you are not 100% satisfied, tell us within 14 days, and get your money back.
